Gary Perona
Pastor Gary Perona and his wife Patty have been involved in regional ministry since the early 1980's. The couple have been married for 45 years and their two grown children now reside in Reno, Nevada.
Upon being invited by Mary Powning to meet and discuss possibly bringing a Bible Study back to the Verdi Community Church the Lord laid it immediately on the hearts of Gary and Patty to bring a full-time ministry to Verdi.
In short order Pastor Gary established the independent ministry now known as "Sure Foundation Fellowship". Agreeing with Mary and her family to steward the historical church (Verdi Community Church) in the heart of Verdi.
The vision that Pastor Gary and all that co-labor with him have is to keep "Building on the History of Fellowship" in Verdi, NV.

• Ordained as a Calvary Chapel Pastor in 1993
• Co-Pastored "Morning Star Calvary Chapel" in Kings Beach, CA
• Guest Pastored for "Fellowship Community Church", Truckee, CA
• Has led home fellowship Bible Studies for over 15 years
• Taught college level Bible classes for 3 years

Pastors Gary and Jim have literally come full circle.
As Senior Pastor for Morning Star Calvary Chapel of Kings Beach, Jim was assisted by Gary some 35 years ago.

Hearts of Worship
Having Survived the events of 2020 our foundational worship team was able to return to us; Sadly for only short while. Our brother Randy went to be with the Lord in early Nov. 2021. Pray for his wife Julie (the other half of the team) and his family. These blessed friends and founding members gave us a wonderful gift of Praise to God in Song.
These Days: Our weekly Worship and Praise has continued with the help of visiting performers and contemporary music to fill the gap. We are blessed by the Grace of God to sing out our Praises every Sunday and hope that you might join us when you can. God Bless!
