Pastor Gary Perona and his wife Patty have been involved in regional ministry since the early 1980's. The couple have been married for 41 years and their two grown children now reside in Reno, Nevada.
Upon being invited by Mary Powning to meet and discuss possibly bringing a bible study back to the Verdi Community Church the Lord laid it immediately on the hearts of Gary and Patty to bring a full-time ministry to Verdi.
In short order Pastor Gary established the independent ministry now known as "Sure Foundation Fellowship". Agreeing with Mary and her family to steward the historical church (Verdi Community Church) in the heart of Verdi.
The vision that Pastor Gary and all that co-labor with him have is to keep "Building on the History of Fellowship" in Verdi, NV.
